How to Draw Interesting Poses

I had a look at this for when I drew the back pose.

Coloring them all

This back pose took me quite a while to search for some references ended up finding nothing so I just went with something similar. Drawing heals in different angle is hard, especially the back.

It took me quite some time to figure out where should I put my RGB lights, then it still feels wrong then I put in some blur which is much better.

Like this pose the most it looks very lively.

This first version of back pose, looks too still, and its hard to tell the gender.

So I have changed the pose, this way it looks like she has some waist, her right leg looks a bit wrong so I fixed that in the computer later.

This is the early version of the sketch on the side view.

I made some changes on her hands and leg. The one above was too big.

Having the perfect faces matters the most so I did research on the important parts of the faces like hair, eyes, faces proportion.

I like the way he draw hair here, it looks simple but good.

Research on Sesame streets

Taking a look at why Elmo is so popular as a character. Most of the reason he is so popular is because of his happy positive, curious, and learning behavior. As I have learn in last term essay, character that are easy to relate to are more likable. Elmo personality is like that of a child he learn new things, makes mistake and be happy about it.

For design part being bright red color makes the character stand out and kids like bright color. Sesame streets target not just the kid but also adults, as a family show featuring some popular celebrity

I really like this drawing because her face looks good and her hair. So I ended up using her hair style.

I was thinking of making her hand like juggling the balls but the pose and the cloth doesnt feel fitted to the action.

This one I havent include the balls but I plan to make them float around her to represent the colors of channel 3. This second one has a more natural look to it. At first I plan to put channel 3 logo on the belt as well but I feel like its too much I only got them at the hair.

The pose 5 is the one I use for the front pose, I was thinking about doing a straight pose but that is boring so I look for a more interesting pose.

This character or hero from Dota2 he has the power to control 3elements which can be mixed to create many spells. Invoker has the three color balls circle around him which inspired me to do something similar with the three colors of channel 3.

I would like Sun to be a model and I want she to dress like one but also has a bit of a fantasy feeling in it so I will include some more accessory.

I ve been looking at many different hairstyle and I am thinking something with short hair, shoulder length hair will be good. Short hair girl are more playful and more active.

I base my character on real life model because I want Sun to be an actress. I use her skirt and shoes.

Wearing this looks kind of fun and yung especially one sided.

This character came from the popular manga One Piece he was a bad guy then he become good guy later. While i am seaching for character that has a symbol of 3 I think of him.

This is the old logo of channel 3

The new logo looks a lot more soft, no hard edge and the color change position to be around the number 3.

Her name is Inori, she is a character representing internet explorer. I like how she has the IE logo on her hair, I will use this idea for my character with 3logo on Sun hair. The marketing using her was very successful for IE but people still use what is best.

Made from the same studio of inori, I look at the chrome example but the character looks really weird with three color shirt so I wont be doing that insted I will have light orbs floating around her instead.
